At Dental QS, we believe dentistry is both a science and an art

—and so is the journey of becoming your best self as a professional.

Our mission is to expand the minds and skills of dental professionals through immersive courses that enhance perception, unlock creativity, and foster personal and professional mastery—

helping you gain clarity, grow in confidence, and reach new heights in both your career and your life.

Our Story

In 2008, after years of long hours at work, a poor diet, and neglecting his own health, Dr. Jerome Cha’s life changed in an instant. After finishing a lengthy dental procedure, one of his lumbar discs ruptured, severely compressing the circulation to his spinal cord below the waist.

Unaware of the severity, Dr. Cha went home to rest, only to wake the next morning unable to move his legs. Emergency surgery was performed, and the prognosis was daunting: only a 25% chance of ever walking again.

What followed was a long and difficult journey of healing—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Through this experience, Dr. Cha immersed himself in the science of neurophysiology, nutrition, and the brain’s power to heal and adapt.

Not only did he walk again, but he returned to dentistry with a renewed passion—this time, with a mission to help dental professionals protect their health, sharpen their mental fitness, and elevate their clinical performance.

This is how Dental QS was born: a teaching institute dedicated to blending science, skill, and self-care so dentists can achieve mastery in their craft while thriving personally and professionally.

  • Unlock mental clarity, reset emotional barriers, and optimize your brain and body for peak performance in dentistry and life.

  • From Anterior Aesthetics to Full Arch, strengthen your hand skills, refine your aesthetic eye, and elevate your clinical speed and precision.

  • Two-part comprehensive courses teach the latest approach to full-mouth restorative rehabilitation—going beyond function and occlusion to help you confidently integrate facial rejuvenation principles into advanced dental rehabilitation.

Perception to Creation

A Two-Day Lecture & Hands-On Course in Aesthetic Dentistry

Course Description

Stop chasing new techniques and materials in search of better aesthetic outcomes.

True aesthetic mastery in dentistry does not begin with materials or techniques—it begins with perception. The quality of any restoration is fundamentally limited by what the clinician can perceive: subtle contours, transitions, proportions, textures, and spatial relationships that define natural form.

Most clinicians struggle with aesthetic dentistry not due to a lack of effort or education, but because their visual system has never been trained to see beyond its default programming. Human vision is selective and predictive by nature; much of the visual field is filtered, compressed, or ignored before it reaches conscious awareness. As a result, critical aesthetic details often go unnoticed—no matter how many courses are taken.

Equally limiting is the second missing link: manual integration. There exists a significant neurophysiological gap between seeing form and recreating it accurately with the hands. Traditionally, this gap is bridged only after years of repetition and trial-and-error.

This two-day immersive course bridges both gaps.

Through a combination of science-based lectures and carefully structured hands-on exercises, participants will learn how perception is formed, how fine motor skills are acquired, and how to efficiently integrate the two. You will be introduced to the Rapid Skills Acquisition Protocol (RSAP)—a framework derived from performance science and motor learning research—to accelerate the acquisition of aesthetic clinical skills.

Participants will progress from expanded visual perception to controlled manual execution, creating life-like dental forms in wax and composite bonding. The principles taught extend far beyond aesthetics and serve as a foundation for all aspects of clinical dentistry.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the neuroscience of visual perception and its role in aesthetic judgment

  • Identify why traditional aesthetic training often fails to produce consistent clinical improvement

  • Recognize the perceptual limitations that constrain restorative outcomes

  • Learn how fine motor skills are acquired and refined at a neurophysiological level

  • Apply the Rapid Skills Acquisition Protocol (RSAP) to aesthetic dental procedures

  • Systematically integrate visual perception with hand control

  • Translate two-dimensional visual input into accurate three-dimensional form

What You Will Take Away

From Perception to Creation, you will gain:

  • Trained eyes capable of detecting subtle aesthetic details

  • Improved hand control and manual precision

  • A structured method for accelerating skill acquisition

  • Greater consistency and predictability in aesthetic outcomes

  • Increased confidence in executing complex aesthetic restorations

  • Foundational skills applicable across restorative, aesthetic, and comprehensive dentistry

This course is not about learning another technique
it is about transforming how you see, how you think, and how you create.

Course Description

The first in a two-part series, this course teaches how full-arch and full-mouth restorative rehabilitation can go beyond restoring oral-masticatory function to strategically compensate for facial skeletal volume loss, improving jawline definition, reducing facial wrinkles, and enhancing both facial balance and oral esthetics.

Participants will learn:

  • The skeletal and dental aging processes

  • Diagnostic and planning strategies for rejuvenating facial esthetics

  • Design principles for trial restorations, wax-up indexing, and simplified full-arch seating

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify anatomical and physiological changes in craniofacial structures associated with aging and their impact on oral function and esthetics.

  2. Recognize clinical indicators of bone loss, compensatory musculature adaptations, and TMD symptoms.

  3. Analyze the effects of facial skeletal regression and dimensional loss on function, support, and esthetic outcomes.

  4. Apply evidence-based diagnostic and treatment planning strategies for full-arch and full-mouth restorations to achieve both functional and esthetic rejuvenation.

  5. Confidently design trial restorations and apply indexing techniques to ensure efficient seating and facilitate functional evaluation.
